IMO all the daily threads are due to people being lazy and not using the search feature where as the 22 sticky is needed due to the numerous issue's in the manual for building the car. Again this is my personal opinion.

If you really think that then you must be new to the internet
In all seriousness though I completely disagree. Like was said, people post new threads because they are too lazy to put any effort into trying to find the answer for themselves. If we did more stickies soon you will have 1/2 of every page as stickies. I'm on a couple forums that do this and it's really irritating.

I think we need to find a way to keep people from posting a new thread before they have searched. I know fat chance.

The other thing is how many different RC's are there? That's a lot of stickies!

The 22 sticky was also started by a Mod. (and obvious TLR fan) which also means he's willing to take the time to filter all the posts and keep it on point. I see the point but I see other brand fans crying for there own (me not included)....I'm 50/50 on the whole sticky thing really

Haha, guilty. I do however own AE vehicles too (SC10 Ft)

Look, I agree many of the questions can be answered with a search, but sometime when I even know what was said in a post I have a hard time finding it with a search... And for new guys it's hard to learn how to use the site as well.

I am planning on doing more guides on some of my other vehicles, but they take quite a lot of time and effort to write. I spent maybe 6 hours simply writing the guide, not to mention the weeks I had my car to go through it and build it correctly. If a company would maybe sponsor me in a sense where they send me a vehicle to take the time to go through and work out bugs and make guides like the TLR 22 Guide, I would do it for sure. Just give me a few weeks to go through the vehicle and learn about it, and a new guide would be posted. In some ways I think it would widen the consumer market for different vehicles in a big way. My .02

RTR = Ready To Rebuild, I don't even like rollers, I would rather build it myself partly because I enjoy it.

I like the 22 but just can't get myself to buy one.......the whole AE thing..

+1 I like the way ShortCoursedotCom has everything categorized and each brand has a thread and sub threads. Much more user friendly and easy to remember where you read that one piece of info 4 months ago that you gotta refer to again

Good arguments for all.
Tooo many stickies is no good.
the losi scte thread has a "page one" that has all the good info and is like a FAQ page.
unfortunately some people dont go there first they just loook and go 540 pages ,,,.... ill just ask the question anyways on page 540 then they get the "check page one" post back from someone.

This is ok and has to be put up with.
I think its better than having 40 "stickies"
The tlr22 sticky is informative and anyone with a TLR 22 prob isnt a newb and is capable of finding the trhead if it drops off the 1st page...

I like the way Muggy is taking care of the 22 sticky, well done and things are being edited and added as needed along with post being deleted after USEFULL info is received. If they decide to add anymore sitcky threads this IMO is how they should be done..

I really like how Muggy puts in the post when things are changed or added++

i think a gearing forum would save alot of thead space like if u go the more common companys and go by track type and turn/kv for each motor would pretty cool to see

We need sub forums:

Brushless >

Lipos >

Gearing >

Something like that.
