Default Oh Losi...

Come on? $10 less than BND for the rolling chassis, which doesn't include a receiver, ESC, Servo, or Motor. Sure they may not be the best, but the ESC and receiver are pretty nice. Only benefit is a clear body, which maybe would even out with just the receiver. The BND is still a better value.

TLR should have released a "CR" version. Would have sold better and satisfied a lot more people IMO.

They shouldve made the following a part of the "Race Roller":

Ball Diff w/ Gear Diff included for preference of diff tuning
Hard Annodized Threaded Shocks with Ideal all around springs (not the ancient black anno ones with sliding collars)
Aluminum rear hubs

Then it would be worth the current price

Just my .02

Agreed.

I told a buddy of mine about the roller edition and when he saw the price he goes "I'll just get BND, I'll get a free receiver."

That price is a rip off. I'm sorry Losi.

At least then you can sell the receiver and upgrade some of the pos parts!

That is scratchy.

I know of hobby shops parting out rollers for $140 with servo and brushed motor (no ESC or Body).

Rollers are for people who are noobies, or for those just too lazy to put the kit together! LOL! I do think they should make the kits in different forms a roller, a basic kit unassembled, CR version with all the goodies unassembled. Most people except maybe the ones who purchase a roller wont use the electronics anyway so only offer electronics in the roller version. Put a clear body in all versions, tires only for the roller and maybe the basic kit, 2 sets of rims with no tires for the CR version. I think if it were done this way it would satisfy everyone. Ok nevermind we all no someone would still complain but I do think this should be something Losi should consider. I enjoy building my kits! Losi ARE YOU LISTENING????

I want a kit with no wheels and tires pre assembled(I am that noobie haha and I am lazy a double whammy) that has all plastic parts then CR parts on the side and all graphite goodies in the box too so you can replace what ever you want haha.

Horizon just doesnt get it. Too many Salesmen not enough racers. The BND was the best deal out. They got $40 more for a $10 TX. Now they take out a $50 receiver, motor, speed control, and servo, and they knock off 10. Then tell people its a great deal. TLR RACE KIT IS WHAT PEOPLE WANT!

Default Past the CR kit

I think we should look for a TLR version of the SCT. We basically all have CR versions with all of the XXX-tcr parts being used. How about some of the Losi 22 design features incorporated into a truck. That's the kit I want to see.

It is a completely different car. They probably have something in the works for stadium truck and SC truck on that platform.

I agree that there should be a "CR" kit version. I think the BND is a great deal though, you can get way more than $10 for the esc, motor and servo on ebay and you get a free $50 Spektrum receiver out of the deal.
