So I acquired a new fantom 42107 vortec off road 11t engine and have absolutely NO idea how it connects to my speed control. On my other brushed motors I solder the cables to the motor and it just plugs into my esc but on this one there is some kind of hole almost looks like something screws in. If you guys can help me that would be great. I'm hoping to put this into my Stampede today.

Gabe,
The holes are your brush hoods and house the oval/round brushes. One side is Positive and other negative. usually there are solder tabs leading towrds them where you would connect your wire.
