Default T4 Ball Studs

Just asking cuz I'm not familiar with them...

The T4 steering servo calls for ASC3858 Special Ball Stud. What exactly makes it special and why can't any other ball stud be used? What size is supposed to be used exactly?

You can use the AE .20 size short neck ball stud.

or

same ballstud except for the low friction coating.

Probably a stupid question, but is the ball the same size no matter what model they are made for?
