Look on ebay. there are several of the hobbywing Xerun 120's there. They aren't going to be 25 bucks, but they are great ESC's

Supposedly, that 60A Turnigy ESC for $25 on HobbyKing is the same as the Leopard 60A ESC that is sold through HobbyPartz as part of a esc/motor combo.
UltimateRC did a review of the Leopard and have very positive remarks on the ESC, though they weren't too excited about the motor. But overall, he recommends the ESC as a good low-budget performer. Watch his review here and decided for yourself:

For $25, it seems like it might be worth checking out unless you are flush with cash and a total brand snob.

I had the $42 version of the turnigy 60a SC....and had very good luck with it. A friend of mine just got the trackstar one, he's only used it a couple times but so far so good. Don't know how much difference there is between the two.
