As far as 1/10 short corse trucks, is an sc10 or a blitz better? It seems like theyre both really good trucks

The answer you might not want to hear, but is my general rule. Look what others are driving or racing in your area. Getting help/set up ect is better. If your bashing or driving alone, look what your local hobby store carries most parts for...

The which is better is a little subjective, if your bashing, I'll tell you, I am not the best driver so big air and crashes happen all the time...I can't seem to break the slash 4x4.

Racing seems set up and driver more than truck, at least in club level. Just my humble opinion.

I have a Durango on order, because it looks great...I'm sure I won't win more races when it gets here, till I get skills up to par.

Not at all. This is what the forum is for. Just ignore the sarcastic jug heads out there.

SC10 is a great racer, but it doesn't fit everyone's driving style. If you like aggressive handling, it's the better truck for you. It has insanely good cornering, but can be twitchy. With the right tuning and a controlled throttle finger, it's one of the best.
The Blitz can't corner quite as well, but it's very forgiving and stable. However, with some steering hop-ups, you can greatly improve the cornering. It requires less tuning to get it race ready. The ESE is a bit on the fragile side with it's very stiff parts.
You might also want to consider the XXX-SCT.

All above is very good advice.
My son and I both have Blitz's (his RTR mine ESE). If you go with the Blitz and are going to do any bashing I would go with the RTR since the plastic is a little more forgiving when you crash. If you are only going to race then the ESE is nice due to the upgraded shocks etc... you get.

Good Luck.

Think about this, the first 2-3 times a question is asked they get tons replies, as time goes on even the people who are willing to help and give their opinion simply don't spend the time anymore to reply AGAIN. And at the same time the OP doesn't have to wait as long, days sometimes, to get enough responces to form an opinion.

My answer was an honest one that would give him instant results.
