Well, ideally you want to charge at 1 "c"...heres an example if you have a 5000mah battery you want to charge at 5.0 amps...if you have a 3800mah pack you want to charge at 3.8 amps...ect...

Thank you for thre write up on lipos! I have it saved to read this evening. And thanks for the info on what amp to set it at. I am at the moment charging a 1600 Mah battery. I set it to 1.6 amps, and its been and hour and its still charging. Is that normal?? Seems king of long.

normal, charging at 1C will take about an hour weather it's a 1600mah pack (1.6 amps) or a 9000mah pack ( 9 amps), 1C is 1C.

Depending on how low they are drained my 3s 3300 and 2s 5300 both take right at an hour. I use the same charger.

+1 you can also check how the batteries doing by looking at the voltage on the charger...if it's an 7.4v[2s] pack it will be done when it gets to 8.4v...if it's an 11.1[3s] pack it will be done when it gets to 12.6v...

not 100% correct, close but not 100% charged most of the time. It will hold the pack at 8.4v and continue to charge untill it reaches 100% capacity, gradualy droping in charge amps...this is normal, don't freak when it continues to charge when it reaches 8.4v (if it's a 2s)

No hostility, I was just assuming you knew that. Which you do. I guess I should have put it as a question. All good
