Default havoc pro sc stutters

Hello,

I have the following
Losi scte 4x4
Spektrum DX3E radio with sr300 reciever
Savox sc-0252 steering servo
And Havoc Pro ballistic 550 4.5 system

Have been experiencing cut outs and stutters during acceleration. Has happened at all speeds even from starting from a stop. I have tested it off the ground so I can watch for any
change in lights on the esc but even when it cuts out all lights stay on and a second or to later the car takes off again. I did try a spektrum spm 1600 voltage protector. Did not correct problem.
Need help. Thank you

Its either the sensor wire , or the sensor pack in the motor .

I had the same problem with mine. Thought it might have been a battery connection but it definately was not. it happened the first day I used the system in SCRT-10. I immediately got rid of the truck for other reason and I still have the system. I am sure it will do it in the new SC10 4x4, and when it does I am sending it off to Novak.

Default Stuttering

What kind of batts are you using ? They may not be strong enough. Also check your wiring for cold solders. If you set your esc for high take off it will stutter if the bats are not strong. 50c or better. I have a Castle that was doing that and found a motor connector wire had rubbed thru insulation to bare metal causing the truck to stutter and shut down then re-start.

Interesting. I was using Pro-Tek lipos that are 5000/40C. Could that really have been it?

4x4 SC is pretty new to me so it may very well be my mistake.

I am using 5200 30c batteries and its smooth no stutter/cogging .

Could be something wrong with the ESC , mine would cut out and re arm sometimes and did so for a while before before it stopped working altogether .

I would try a receiver cap, like the Novak Glitch Buster. Sounds like this could be the problem.

If I keep the motor , what would you suggest for a good esc?
