Default SC10- Traction issues through turns

My setup -

Stock rtr shocks with stock fluid
Blue springs in front, green in back
Good tires for my track
1 degree hubs
Weight placement per ryan cavalari
4th hole drilled in rear shock tower

My problem is when I am cornering hard and trying to accel through, the inside rear tire is almost coming off the ground and I can hear the tire spinning, trying to grab traction.

Is there a simple solution to try and keep the rear planted through a corner?

Go to a Red spring with 35wt oil in the front. The problem is with soft front springs you get alot of body roll and the inside tire unloads too much.

Have you tried the sway bar it helped a little with mine on a indoor carpet track. I also run the red springs in the front and it helps with the body roll.

Are you running lipo batteries? If you do, did you add any weight to the car?

Ya I was going to say the ball diff might be a tiny bit to tight, also are you running expo on your throttle? This alone can make a night and day difference. Try it out, the change in trigger pull is annoying at first but after 5min you'll forget all about it because you driving will be alot better. Also I like to run 3deg's in the rear. Also like to run 1/4 rebound in the front/rear and 30deg caster blocks in front.

I could tell you your never going to get all the traction you desire on a 2wd truck. Driving these trucks fast requires a ton of finesse, to me that's what makes driving them such a blast especially when you out drive all your friends with the same truck or people you don't know! Lol see ya out front! Hope this helps!

Thanks for all the help. I just went to my desk and put the red's on up front. Ill try loosening the slipper a tad (I really like it tight, pulling wheelies down the straight ), and start messing around with the exponential

I know, but it's supposed to be loose so it doesn't do what you're describing.

I've noticed the problem with wheelies is it's really hard to steer with the front wheels off the ground..

Not to hard to steer on a straight. You must think I have a wheelie bar on and I ride the whole straight away. No. Sometimes its fun to come around the straight right in front of the stand and pull the front tires off the ground. No harm
