yes. very soon one18th.com will be selling a custom made buggy kit that was started from a mold that 6victor6 made. here are some links:

RC18T Sand Rail Buggy Body - EBAY Sale - Gallery 1 - Gallery 2
6victor6's Buggy Body - one18th Distrobution Thread - First Posted Thread

the '6victor6' one is amazing, the packaged body will come iwth the wing and mounting hardware. most people that ahve put their $$ amount on it voted for $20-$25 but their is no price set yet. currently the hardware is in the shop and only prototype pulls form the mold have been done. the first production pull of the lexan body is expected within the coming weeks.

If you actually mean a buggy kit, I believe kyosho released a 1/18th"nitro" buggy. It has a heatsink that comes through the body but isnt functional as the car is electric. Kinda cool really, see if i can find some pics.

Actually, the heatsink IS functional, to a point. If you look at it closely, the 'fake' heatsink is attached to the heatsinks on the ESC, effectively using outside air to help cool it. Pretty clever idea.

Does anyone else find it strange that with the major success of the micro market whey companies are making "strange" cars. I love my RC18 but it kinda killed the "mini-t" class. Now there are three or four 4wd vehicles and now with something as cool as a mini "1/8th scale buggy" they make it 1/16 scale? Y not try something universal, because believe it or not the micro class is getting huge support and is really picking up and a substantial rate.

I'm trying to locate the stock servo horn that came with the kit. All I can find is the one for the Hitec servo and it doesn't fit the stock AE servo. I'm building the truck from the ground up with the parts that I want to use and have hit a wall on this.

Is there anyone that upgraded to a different servo? what did you use?

im using the HS81MG on my RC18T. I've ordered the Atomic XR53 servo saver and it has not come in yet but I can post my views on it when it does. The HS81MG is NOT a direct fit and I am making my own mounting hardware (so far I'm about 2 hours into the project with some nice advancements). There are some direct fits:

Airtronics 94091Z
Futaba S3107

also note that the stock servo is faster and stronger than both of these. I only managed to strip the gears on my stock after putting a ziptie around the saver. this gave me better steering, but obviously less protection.

I'm hoping the atomix saver plus the 81MG's metal gear strength will give a nice combo of speed and durability.

PS - if you want I can sell you an unused servo saver for the stock servo. I opened it, but I bought it seperately from the kit, i just kept it as loose parts in my toolbox.
