I run and highly recommend a hobbywing Xerun SCT pro esc and the 3656sd sensored hobbywing 4 pole 540 motor 4000kv. They also make a 3400kv which imo would be good indoors and a 4700kv that is crazy fast.

The Xerun Pro SCT and 4000KV combo seems great may even be too much for my local track,
Lewis you mentioned zero timing and punch 6, the default timing is 15 so will it affect performance or just keep the motor cooler?

As long as the motor is "too much", you should set timing to 0, and you can turn down the punch for traction control. The motor will run cooler, and batteries will last longer. Control in the corners is much more preferable than hurtling down the back stretch straight into the wall.

Justinmahn has it correct, I don't have a problem with over heating even running 25* timing. I run zero.timing and its more controlled. And still has plenty of power even with zero timing. I run my heard 13/46

Just ordered the lightweight chassis 80% roller from nitrohouse, should have it any day now. hopefully have it up and running pretty soon kinda curious how it handles compared to my hyper

whats the weight of a nexx without electronics , and how much does the chassis acually take off , i have a scrt10 so same chassis figured my advantage over losi is being light why not be lighter , i have everything mounted on the chassis and i run shorty packs side to side left 200g battery 70g esc,, right 64g servo 200g motor reciever mounted under front driveshaft and ive drilled 1/4 holes about half way throught in certain spots on the chassis and poliched it with a dremel since it looked horrible

It's not standard you have the alloy shock towers and the alloy steering assembly. You don't "need" any other upgrades but it is nice to have the rear cvd's and centre ones. You can do a mod to the batterie tray so you can lay batterie flat but that's a 50 50 argument to being any better. Another thing to do is run esc behind the batterie to balance weight better and to remove the esc/receiver tray and replace with abit of carbon fibre above centre diff.
For tyres calibers are good all round, I-beams are good and so are grid irons on clay.

Check the jammin scrt forum it is more active and basically the same truck.

I've been running the light weight chassis Nexx 10sc on an indoor track the past 3 weeks now. Switching from an Ofna hyper 10sc I had been running. So far I am very impressed with the way the Nexx handles! Still getting the setup down obviously its only been 3 weeks but right off the bat first night I could not believe how much smoother and more forgiving this chassis is over the hyper! I'm running a castle mamba max race pro sc with a castle 3800kv 1410. Tons of power and always runs cool. Very happy with this truck so far and definately glad I stayed with Ofna!

This is my beast and it shows the lay down mod done with carbon fibre.

Depends on the track if it is flat (not 1/8 scale or blown out 1/10) the nexx as it is lighter and dont have to throw it around the course to put down faster times and it turns better. Big bumpy tracks the losi is better.
