el Bourlando is Brian Bourland on the race reports as well. When I talked to him at a local race he tried some of the longer shocks in front and switched back to the stockers.

i finde it pretty good.
after getting my novak 4,5T combo on 2S i can easy keep up whit my freind´s losi 4x4 on a mmm 2450 kv combo on 3S and ive nly broken 2 rear arms after getting hit bye a losi 8 buggy on the straigt both of us running full speed my nexx was flying about 5 yards after that so that was ok not the trucks foult
other then that ive bein really happy whit it and the handling is great and its pretty easy to drive im a noob only run rc cars for 4 month now

its easy to setup i run outside on a rougfh 1/8 scala track
i got diffs 5/5/3
and suspention front 40W whit 1 hole piston
rear 40W whit 1 hole piston
and it runs great so fare im going back to std front 2 small holes 50W for the small indore track

I dont think longer front shocks are needed either, but, I would like to try some bigger bore 1/10 buggy front shocks that would be about the same length. Once people start parting out the TLR 22 buggy on ebay and the price of a set of fr/rr shocks drops below $130.00 I think those will be the hot ticket for the Nexx/SCRT trucks. I think Team C and Venom are also working on a 12-13mm buggy shock as well, maybe they'll be more reasonable($30-35 a pair) and I'll give them a shot. I just dont think the geometry is as good with the longer front shock and tower, until then I'll just stick to the stockers as well.

We had a guy use a tenshock on a mamba pro in a losi. Was real fast but he said it didnt have alot of torque...two weeks or so later his mamba esc went up so kind of hard to get a good read on it as the esc could have been set wrong or faulty. He was also used to sensored motors and actually went to a gtb2 and a fantom 4.5 turn 550. A lot of guys seem to like the tenshock on the forum but I do not know all the vehicles they run them in.

Ok well i found the thread and these seem pretty good for the money, but still my esc works with the 1/10 motors on 7 cells and my 50c lipos, why wouldn't it work with a with a 1/8 motor? could i turn the punch and timing down so it wouldn't stress the battery's?

It's got nothing to do with your ESC, he's referring to fitting a 4S battery into your stock battery tray which won't happen because it's designed for 2S batteries so your best bet is to get a motor that's designed for 2S operation such as that Tenshock motor.

Personally I think this looks like a pretty good combo for $134.

Yes if your esc is sensorless you will need to get a sensorless motor that has a high enough kv rating to keep up on a 2s set up. Castle used to be affordable but now seems they are on the high priced side on motors
