OFNA Nexx 10sc Thread

Ive not popped a ball cup yet, they seem solid so far. I have pulled the swaybar arm mount apart. I just used ca glue on each threaded rod end and put back together, no problems since!

Yes, it was fun. I was able to take the TQ spot. I came up a little short in the main finishing 2nd. The track grooved up and the truck got a little tight in the corners, I probably needed a harder compound or diff tire or maybe even jus a wheelbase change. Of course the barrel roll onto my roof after the first corner, set me back in the field a bit. The truck was still good enough to win, I just wrecked and got too far behind too early. But it was a fun day of racing. We had over 120 entries with close to 30 in the 4x4sc class. Not too bad for a Memorial weekend in Indianapolis.

Was there any Losi or Associated 4x4 sc's? Just asking because some here try to say the Nexx cant keep up and where I race I clearly can even against drivers who I consider better than myself......Nice job btw

It was a losi that won and an ae finished in third. I pretty much gave it away on the start. They start double file nascar style and there is almost no advantage for tq. I made it thru the corner fine and singled over, then doubled into the carousel and cut the wheel too hard and rolled it over, I was trying to double out, in which case it would have been lights out! I came out in 4th but then I got dumped on the triple and it was a battle to make it back thru, maybe in a 10 minute main I could have got back to the lead after my mistakes.
In the video that corner had good moisture from rain, so I think that may have aided the roll overs in the carousel. Then on Monday by main time the track had a good groove and I think the compound I ran made it grab and rollover.
here is a video of the main from saturday before the memorial race, I am the yellow body with a blue stripe, I was running my practice body. You can see on the start I almost did the same thing.....doh

Cool. Stateline is an awesome facility!! Kevin, Joe & Cory are
a great group of guys. I didn't make it up last year but have been there several times in the past. Fun place to race. I'm hoping to make it for the Kings race. I think a bunch of us are going to PPR on Sunday in Muncie.

Loosen the 10 mm fitting holding the top pillow ball in place and either tighten the pillow ball for more - camber or loosen it for more positive camber then retighten the 10 mm fitting to take the play out but dont over tighten or you will make it bind. If you can get the pillow ball hole to line up through the 10 mm fitting you can tighten or loosen it that way as well.
