will the mamba max pro esc work with the neu 1512 motor in a 4x4 slash or is the esc a bit small?

It will work fine I have used mine with a 1512 and a 1515 and it worked great. Motor might be a bit much for the 4x4 slash bit it depends on the voltage and kv of your setup. One things for sure, it will have plenty of power.
