Simple and cheap way to maintain CVD's
hey all
i purchased these boots from A Main Hobbies and just instaled them yesterday. they really seal up the joint and keep the lube inside where it belongs. one thing that i noticed was that even though i clean religiously, every one of my cvd joints was gritty with dirt and crap! these boots are $6 for 4 and come in four colors. i see them as a cheap way to lengthen the time between rebuild and smoother running!
Part # DYN7687B, B-blue, R-red, P-purple, no letter is black.
let me know what you think

on the HB shafts put some heat strink on the big end to fully seal it from pulling from a tear

I have used those for years. They don't bind at all and they work great but they don't last very long. They tend to split at the creases after not too many race days, but they do work great while they are intact
