They are but I'm a bit north of Los Angeles and we all know traffic in LA SUCKS so that's why I can't readily get to their shop to purchase parts. lol

I just bought a used hyper tt but this has me thinking I should try a pede 4x4 conversion. This would be make it easier to go to the shop and get parts.

Thats a good question. I actually never thought of running it WITHOUT a center diff....I am so used to 1/8th scale buggies and Slash 4x4's with center diffs. The truck might work well with a solid center, since the wheelbase is so short(relative to a slash 4x4). Im gonna run it again on tuesday. ill ry it with and without and see...

I dont typically bash, but I can say that it is tougher than the stock stampede 4x4, which Ive seen take ALOT of abuse. If you are bashing, there are so many tires to choose from for this truck, and bodies, too....look at all of the tires that just came out from pro-line for the 2.8 wheels....all of those will fit, too

I really like the cars who could do different things.

Your "tuning" looks very good, that gives the opportunity to drive either a staidum truck or a monster truck with the same car, same electronic, same motor, I like the idea a lot.

I agree. I like this idea because its a great all around setup. Put some monster truck wheels, raise the height, put the stock body on and you're back to an awesome basher.

Sounds good. Keep us updated! I'm going to the RCX Expo on Saturday. Hopefully there will be some deals on the Stampede. Thanks again

Just for reference's sake the vid I posted with the Pede beating a whole field of race truggies was with no center diff. Depends upon the track though, and you have to work the sway bars as appropriate to make sure it rotates. On a loose surface I'm sure a center diff would be a huge help.

i had a couple sets of rustler rears laying around and slapped them on my 4x4 pede. love the way it handles with them compared to stockers.

Thanks for the info Jang. With how you set up your stampede, would you choose a stampede over a slash?
