Info about the Proline Flo-tek
Hey guys just got the proline flo-tek body for my scte and it has the dimples marked for the truck allready. The front is marked wrong you will actually drill the front body mount holes in the spot marked for the sc10 (second back from the front of the truck) and not the third mark. Just letting someone know before they just go drill the post holes. Luckily I eyeballed it before i did mine. This body is sweet looking.
Blitz sized bodies fit with the least trimming. SC10 bodies fit but require more trimming.
PM me with any TLR SCTe win and I will post you here.

Anyone who has been reading the thread knows the diff pins on the first shipment of trucks have diff pins that are to soft for brushless power. Losi has updated the pins in the second shipment. If you suspect you have the older pins, contact Horizon Hobby (877) 504-0233, they will send you new pins free of charge. We don't need you to post about how pissed you are, we get it... It happened to all of us.

Diff Pins
The diff pins in the truck have been fixed in the seconds shipment of trucks. If you would like aftermarket pins, I suggest using Chrispins ([email protected]) or visit his forsale thread located here - http://www.rctech.net/forum/r-c-item...-ten-scte.html

Diff pin length
24 mm long 3mm thick and the grove in the middle is 3mm long and 1.5mm deep

Other Diff gear alternatives
OFN21003 - gears and pins (only using the small bevel gears and pins..)
KYO96775 - Kyosho bevel gear washer/shims or any 4x10x.15 washers

You will need two of those behind each bevel gear to help things mesh properly. At least that's what mine needed.

Pull the losi or AE pins out and toss em on the side.. Same with the Losi gears, tiny washers and aluminum bushings and replace with OFNA gears, Kyosho washers (or equivalent). The shafts are a touch too long. You will need to trim equal amounts from both ends of the pin. It is nothing major, it isn't so much that you need to cut it off with a wheel. Just a touch on the grinder or dremel tool and all will be good.

For those of you who have done or are doing the OFNA gear replacement, here is another great reason..

Chassis droop screws
Keep an eye on your chassis where your droop screws hit the stops. The small screws will chew down the chassis over time and cause premature wear. You can prevent this by installing 4-40 x 4mm Droop Screws (part#LOSA6253) I highly recommend you use a tap set on the screws. If you screw up the holes it's impossible to fix. USE THE TAP!!! http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...rodID=LOSA6253

Servo Saver
From the factory check your servo saver for tightness, we have seen this comes loose and causes steering issues. Red loctite seems to be the fix, blue loctite just doesn’t hold over time.
