Default Pro-Line SC Closed Cell Foam 2.2"X3.0" Inserts

I just bought a set of these foams to replace the foam in one of my sc tires. I blew a piece of foam threw the weep hole in my tire.

Are these foams good? And I am confused about the grey piece of foam.

Thanks.

the supplemental grey piece is for rims like traxxas and HPI, wherein there is an extra area taht neds filling. If you needed it, you'd know.

The gray foam goes on the smaller 2.2 part of the rim, under the blue closed cell.

if you have THIS type of wheel, you do not need the grey strip, throw it away:

If you have THIS type, it fills in the gap under the foam:

I prefer the JC foams, they have a flater profile but if you need them now they're not really an option...
