Default Best make shift tool you have come up with

I wanted to see what others have come up with in a pinch in the field or at the track when you didn't have the tool you would normally use.

Mine was last week at the track when I was soldering up a speed control and brushless motor. At home I have a 'helping hands' that I use but didn't have it at the track. So I used a pair of pliers with a rubber band around the handles to act as a makeshift vise grip. This allowed me to put the piece I was working on in a position that I could work on it with both hands and not have to worry about it moving on me.

Let's hear your stories of ingenuity.
