Servo Question

When running 1/8 scale Electric buggy go you have to run a high voltage servo because your running 4 to 6 S or can you run a regular voltage servo?

I just assume since the voltage of your batter is soo much more then the 6v that you need the high voltage ones, unless the ESC magically cuts power for your receiver..

The esc lowers the voltage to your receiver so you don't have to run hv servos.

true. thats one reason speed controls have a voltage limit, it can only step down so many volts to 6v until meltdown occurs!

+1 for E-Buggy apps/servo's.

HV servos are just typically more powerful and faster, but they also draw more ampage and get hotter.
