Baja 1000 Results.
After 5 hours and 33 minutes of intense racing the Slashaholics finished in front of the field by 17 laps. They Slashaholics completed 1000 laps, the Titans finished in 2nd with 983 laps, Big Richard Motorsports finished 3rd with 933 laps and 4th went to We are #4 with 824 laps.
The Slashaholics drivers were Darrell Scott, Chad Spratt, Danny (Popeye) Simpkins and Herbie Lee. Darrell, Chad, and Popeye all drove stock Slash chassis with the stock ESC and stock Slash motor. Herbie was running a STRC LCG conversion with a stock ESC and motor.
The Titans who finished in second managed to run the whole race with only 3 racers. With the race winding down they closed the gap to less than 5 laps and were gaining fast. I looked like they may have been able to pull it off with lap times consistently faster than the Slasahloics but mechanical failures doomed them. The Titans all ran stock Slashes with stock ESC and motors.
The only team to run Losi brand vehicles finished 3rd with 2 Losi's and 2 Slash's.

How did the lap counting work?
Did each team have one transponder that was swapped bteween cars?
