From our past lap time 1000 laps should be somewhere between 4 and 5 hours depending on how we layout the track and how hard people push. Each teammate should get to drive for about 1hr or a little more. Our normal race nights we get three 5 minute heats and a 6 minute main, a total of 21 minutes. So we are looking about triple the regular amount of racing in a usual night. Sounds like fun!..lol

Hillsdale MI. We are between Detroit and Chicago but closer to Detroit. The track is a 36'x75' Ozite carpet track. We will run an off-road style track with a few jumps and other miscellaneous obstacles such as PVC pipes that act as whoops, various sized discs, and few other things. Our normal laps in a 5 minute heat is between 20 and 27 depending on the track layout for the race. That cover it?

A Different carpet track in the metro Detroit area was the first to do this type of race last year. They ran box stock slashes for a 1000 laps which took about 5 hours to complete.

4 Teams signed up and have heard from about 6 others with interest. Looks like payout might get bumped up to that $400

I wish I were 1200 miles closer...sounds like a blast and a fun way to mix it up. I wish more tracks were A) available, and B) looking to add interest to the fun of SCT racing.

Please post updates and pics/video (clips not the whole thing) of this event...maybe it will catch on.

We did a 2hr Enduro with 3 man Teams (Had 10 Teams) running 1 SCT Truck w 17.5 motor - Battery Changes 15-20mins -

The following 3 Enduros we did basically same rules minus Motor Rule -

100x40 Black Dirt track

After 2 hrs of Racing it came down to 2 teams one the same Lap - 2nd Place lost by only 10 secs ~

I think we did around 320 ish laps or so in 2 hrs

My Team came away with the Win - Ran a Novak 17.5 SS Pro came off the track after 2 hrs and only Temp 150 degrees ! One of the best times Racing RC cars !

I will see if I can find some of the Videos
