The main reason for the trade was that the AE is a bit lighter than the Losi. It is my hope that I won't need any type of heatsink on the AE. If I do though, I'll probably end up making or buying something that fits the new truck. You're right, my current solution probably won't fit in the AE at all. From everything I could find, the AE should be 8-10oz lighter. I had both trucks in my hand with electroncs, batteries, etc... and the AE did seem a bit ligher. I didn't have a scale to say for sure.
I'll be sure and have a temp gun handy for the AE testing.

I just picked up a hyper TT myself and will need another combo for this truck. Off the top of my head I'm thinking 4600kv. I would be curious what other people recommend. I sold my friend my spare 4600kv for his CRT.5. I'll ask him how it's been doing in that truck.

I'm hesitating between 2 and 4 pole motor for the Hyper 10TT. The 4 poles give torque but are they still smooth?

Installed a 5200kv in a TT.
Was it overkill ? Yes ! Temps in the 150's with a 11t pinion.
Im thinking temps shouldnt be a issue in the AE 4x4, Runnin in Slash, Jammins, Hypers and the Nexx have not had any problems using 12,13 and on cool days a 14t with the 4600kv.
Far as a heatsink that fits I have a few diffrent ones coming my way to get tested out. You can PM me if anyone is interested in doing the test work.
