What's the 3800 like in the sct410 is good or no

Good question. I was tempted to try the 3800. However, the 4400 @ 16t pinion on sct410 rips. Power on tap.

I put the stock Traxxas slash 4x4 tires on my sct410 to goof around on the inddor clay track and it still rips in forward but no bite in the corners...kept hitting the walls. However, the drifting is predictable and lots of fun. Too bad I snap the rear right sub axle on a landing. Meanwhile I get to play with my slash 4x4 with a reedy 550 motor. Plenty rip as well.

My buddy put in a zerun 4700 hobbywing motor (unsensored) in his slash 4x4 and he was doing wheelies on 2s in the dirt. Very impressive power and speed. I've swapped out my reedy and put in my xerun 4000kv hobbywing motor. I also remove the sensorwire and pairing it with a Hw sc8 esc unsensored. I'm gearing it high at 16t/52 spur center diff. Gonna run it tomorrow and see how it does.

Heya, I probably could have read through all the pages of this thread to find out the answer to my question but im lazy.... Setting up a ten scte 1.0 as a bit of a basher. Would the sc401 4400kv and a tenshock 120a esc be a decent combo to run? Anything vastly better for the price I should consider?

Any more info on this? Was looking at running it in my SCTE lite on 3s. Seems like the x211 is really similiar to the tekin pro4?

Id say closer to the Pro 2 motors.

I got a Slash 4x4 and want to run my tenshock Sc401V2 3800kv will this be to much power for the truck? On 2-3s racing and bashing and will a 18/54 gearing be to much for the motor?
