I'm not a losi expect, but i think it looks like the origional car. The front end defenetly is. Looks like the old gearbox, but hard to tell. Benni hasn't raced much off rd - think he only really does this race now, so it's probably his old car from when he was with Losi.

Yes it´s the same car he used at last years Nationals.
He really doesn´t have much racing in the last months as he has very limited time for RC cars currently due to study. I´m not sure if he did any offroad racing since last year. But as he was National champion last year he didn´t need to qualify for this year. Our rules say a National champion will have a starting place for next years Championship automatically for defending his title.
But Benni proved he still is one of the fastest if not the fastest offroad driver here even with limited practice only.

Wow, now I see why different cars work in Europe that don't work here. I've always heard the layouts were flatter and have less "Supercross" style, but I didn't realize how different they really are. Keep the photos coming.

I think there are also some differences in the offroad tracks in Europe. But I think these guys at the track made a good job even when they can´t do a "Supercross" track.
But the tracks in the USA maybe really are very different.

I just have left about 4 or 5 pictures but they need do resized first for posting. Don´t have much more pictures as I just was about 3 hours at the Nationals and most time I was watching the race or talking to the guys I know.

V12, thanks for posting the pics and info. It's good to know what's going on elsewhere in the world of R/C.

'nuff said,
