Default Offroad Electric Which One?

I am looking to get into the hobby and wanted everyones thoughts on which vehicle would be best for a newbie.

1.Team Losi XXXT Sport RTR

2.Team Associated RC 10 T4 RTR

3.Team Associated RC 10 B4 RTR

4.Traxxas Rustler RTR

Wonder what everyone thought. I am leaning toward the Losi or Associated Truck.

Thanks For The Input.

HeY!!!

I would most definatly stick w/ a truck and both of the losi and AE RTR's are very good and can take a lil bit of bashing, but are more ment for racing, but the duratrax evader is prolly the best rtr for bashing... but i'd prolly get the losi or ae rtr truck because they have a lil better quality... hope that helped.

Go with the Losi XXXT. Flat out.

Why?
You get a Computer Radio by JR racing
GM Racing V3 ESC with 15 turn limit
You're getting a race winning truck!
Full Ball Bearings (Wasn't standard in the T3 rtr, so I don't know about the T4 rtr)
They take a lot of abuse! I have a MFE and it's the sickest truck I've ever owned!

For electrics I have te Losi Matt FrancisXXXT and a Rustler. Hands down the MF is a better truck. It's faster with the way everything has been layed out, it turns better, it comes with better equipment as standard.

Not much experience with the assosiated but I wasn't happy with the one that I used for a weekend. It just didn't seem to handle well for me.

One of the biggest things you have to look at is the availability of parts in your area. Which are more prevalent? Associated or Losi?

Get the T4! I have one and love it! It's got to be my favorite car. I don't have the rtr model and don't know how good it is, but I will just say that it's a good truck

Is there a wheelie bar made for stadium trucks? My nitro evader wont stop doing wheelies! I dont want to adjust the slipper and lose the acceleration

Both of the trucks I can get parts for, there are plenty of R/C shops in the Dallas-Fort Worth area so getting parts for either truck would not be a problem. I can get either the Losi or the Associated for around $250.00. I looked at the Associated RC10 B4 and can get one of those for about $230.00. Just looking for something that I can learn with(me and my 8 yr old son are going to get the same vehicles-diff colors)that won,t break easy and I can upgrade. Also was told that the RC10 T4 if I decide to go gas any upgrade parts will work on the RC10GT truck.

I have heard that the T4 isn't very durable. A few months ago I had an RC10T3... Very tough truck, I think I broke it twice in the 2 years that I had it.

As for the common parts in a T4 and a GT... I really don't think(but nor do I know) that ANY parts are interchangeable right now.

From what I've seen people say, it looks like your best bet is a Team Losi XXXT Sport.

Not only does the Losi come with better electronics, it also comes with Name Brand electronics... Food for thought.

T4 all the way, i got mne a month after they were realised and i haven't broken a thing, it doesnt wear as fast as the losi's and its winning all the races. I have raced at state titles nationals in australia with this truck and i think hands down it is the better of the 2, jujst look at whos the 2004 ROAR US modified truck nationals champion, the T4 the way to go
