I'm wondering which electric buggy you guys would rather have. I debating between the new Mugen MBX6E or the RC8BE buggy. I've built a few RC8BE's for customers but never driven one on a track, and I know the MBX6E is new but I wanted to see what you all think.

I'm going to be racing it on a tight loose track and going to be running a Tekin motor. What are the pros and cons of each on a track?

And I have never owned a RC8B, but I love my Mugen. These which ones are better threads accomplish nothing. I would get whatever one you can get better support for.

my point of view would be to get the mugen, just because of durability, as it does not need to be perfectly set up to work, but I would say the associated would be a great car if tuned correctly, in my opinion it needs a decent set up to be consistant, so it basically comes down to your own preference and what the local hobby shop stocks, not every hobby store carries mugen parts

You could check the local track and see what's run. If there are more Mugens, get that. If there are more RC8BE's, get that. That will help you get it setup and have others to share knowledge with. I personally love my RC8BE, but as mentioned, there are others who love their Mugens. Both are great buggies and I think you'll be happy with either one. Honestly, any of the top manufactures are going to make a nice product.

There's no correct answer to this question as they are both capable and quality buggies. With that being said I have owned both and I personally love my Mugen.

i own a rc8be.. its a very nice buggy and mugen is also well known for quality.. from what i see the mugen is very nice looking anyways..

either or you'll be happy...

get whatever one you can get parts for easier!

In our track, one of the guys has a Mugen MBX-6 converted to E and looks like a very good buggy but he breaks the front lower and upper arms.
The rest of the guys we have XRAY 808E and we never break the arms, so I suggest to buy this buggy or LOSI EIGHT-E.
If you are an experienced driver and you never makes "ninja stars", Mugen could be also a good decision, if not, buy stronger buggys like XRAY or LOSI.

I used to race AE RC8e, but now I race Mugen. They give different feelings on the track, the AE feels more stable, the Mugen feels more responsive around corners. But there is one important difference: the Mugen is rock solid, no needs for expensive hop-ups like the AE needed. Only time I broke a front arm on a Mugen was when I hit a wall at full speed. No issues with front arms...

having owned both i prefer the mugen, more durable and it suited my driving style more, i have a tekno conversion though. if you're sticking with oe kits strongly consider the mugen over the ae simply because the ae motor mount SUCKS!! I also like the overdrive front diff gear the mugen offers.
