Default Best way to strip paint off springs?

Hey guys I'm trying to strip the paint off some springs and I was wondering what is the best way?

I currently have them sitting in Dot4 brake fluid but not sure that will work.

Thanks.

I did it once, it was either acetone or paint thinner. I must have sniffed too many fumes, I dont remember.

Wire wheel on a dremel. Only took me 5 minutes for all 4 springs

Wire brush and dremel works great. If you want the color completely gone with minimal effort. Swing by an auto parts store and grab a can of Aircraft Remover. It smells horrible but takes the paint off in maybe 20 seconds.

you need to soak them, not for very long tho. the paint will start to crinkle then rub right off. you can huff the fumes, fun had by all.

Another alternative to striping them is to dye them black. That's what I do to all my springs and they turn out pretty good.
