Default Team Losi XXX4 any advice?

Soo I found a pretty sweet used XXX4 that is almost rtr, I have some questions? Ive heard that these are the worst 4wheel buggy out there, then again I heard that their the best, I do know that there is some kind of steering mod that has to be done, and the slipper is kind of a pain. I have 12 hours to decide if Im gonna buy it, if anyone can help me out with this its much appreciated. Thanks guys

I would recommend that you upgrade the plastic hinge pin braces to the aluminum ones. Since you will likely probably brake the plastic ones. Keep some other spares on hand like arms, extra belt, towers etc.

I also forgot keep some diff cases on hand too. I broke quite a few of these when I ran the car.

Yes a very good buggy on smooth high bit tracks. A bit harder to drive on rougher tracks and the older XX4 was king. Nonetheless a good buggy for racing.
