What diff lube does the 2wd slash have?

I picked up a small tub of bearing, u-joint, etc. auto grease for my slash diff and tranny. Works fine.

It comes with grease in the diff.
I have actually packed mine with ae black grease and it worked good for about 2months before it slung it all out.
I noticed my lhs had some traxxas diff locker. Could this be used?

For my driving style I actually would rather my diff be locked. Most of the tracks I run on are loamy with little traction. I usually just slide in and out of the turns.
You think the traxxas diff locker would fully lock the rear diff?
I was thinking it would be super tight but not so tight that it eliminated all the diff action.

I have used some super duper thick ofna "diff lock lube" in the past. I thought it wouldn't leak out due to its insane thickness and stickiness. I only used a little bit of it to coat the gears, so it wouldn't v\be a full lock. It worked well, except it STILL leaked out, and gunked up the tranny gears too. And that stuff was a pain in the butt to clean out of the tranny.
So now I just use the same lube in the diff as the tranny. Who cares if it leaks out.

I understand the purpose of a diff and I know some roll through the corners is good but I would rather have a very stiff diff. I go through the corners almost drifting in about .5in of loam.
I just saw a little package of traxxas diff locker and wasnt real sure what it was. You know is it a very thick tacky grease or like you said a silly putty.
I dont want a permanently welded together diff but a tight diff that last more than a few races is the idea.
