Do you have the stock ESC in it now? if so how old is it?
See the problem with these ESC's are that when they get to old the sensor in them becomes oversensitive therefore constantly shutting down

I just recently purchased an Evader ST on Thursday. I am very new to the hobby and based on a friends comments I figured this would be a good starter car. I got an RTR and had the ESC and Motor changed out when I bought it.

After a few days Play I was driving near another Hobbyshop and went inside. Found an Evader BX pro for $89.99 (Pre-Built) I bought the need components and went home and started building. Good thing I did that because now I understand how these little cars break so easy.

So far the ST is running good, aside from two broken Hub carriers and busted Chasis plate. I fixed it and was running it all over the place. The Evader BX is giving me some issues. For some reason the controller and the car aren't communicating. I can steer but get no movement witht he throttle squeezed. All parts are getting power.

The ST has a factory Paint Job. The BX pro had a clear shell and I did a custom spray job on it, then used the sticker kit to dress it up. See the pic link.

Any suggestons for getting the BX running would be good. I appreciate any help I can get.

Exclamation Transmitter buttons?

I have this Futaba transmitter for my Duratrax Nitro Evader ST truck, and I am wondering what the 2 buttons in the pic is. It has the words beside the button, "St. Rev" and "Th. Rev". I am wondering what mode it has to be in to have regular driving mode? It has an arrow pointing up and down with N pointing upwards and R pointing down. Do both have to be up in the N postition to drive correctly? Thanks.

Thumbs up

Yea, I took my Evader ST Pro out for the second time, and I hit an raw iron fence and snapped the shock tower, front control arm, and the shock thread....how wonderful? Its alright, anything hitting a corner of a iron fence would have broken something. I tell ya, all thsoe saying DurTrax= Duracrap has never owned one...I have a Traxxas S-Maxx, and I think the Evader ST Pro is just as fun, and more tunable. One thing I have heard is that people stay away from the Graphite parts because it is too stiff and offers minimal flex. Is this true?

Cool Evader st bashed to the max

Got mine in post today put it together and went bashing....

What an awesome car totally bashed it and no damage.
I went to the local BMX track and skate park next to it after 20 mins
of racing across the BMX track jumping it at full speed of the waist high bmx
jumps I then decided to test it out to the max so after a battery change I
drove it at full pace to the skate park and much to the amusment of the
skaters launched it out of the bowl several times getting chest high air and
all ways landing good (well balanced) only on the last jump did thing go
wrong as it landed on its rear instead of flat this pushed the motor forward
and the gears meshed to tight a quick pit stop to ajust the motor and gear
meshing and she was running like a treat again. Looking forward to racing her
on Sunday hope I don't bash it to much before I get to the track.
