Default what rc magazine should I subscribe to?

I want something that offers unbiased reviews, for one thing. Driver just raves about everything, obviously paid ads. RC car action seems about the same. Is Xtreme rc any different or better? Other suggestions?

That magazine just closed it's doors unfortunately, so now we are left with the ones still available.

I like Xtreme due to the appealing layout and more importantly because (in my opinion) there is much more useable content within the magazine than the other 2 still avaialable. They have stuff for both beginners and seasoned enthusiasts, but even the most seasoned of hobbyists/racers can pull useful information from their "getting started" articles. Hot chicks always help the case as well.

RC Car was quickly becomming my favorite as well since I had subscribed, but then Hi-Torque, being the douches that they, are had to cancel it.

I haven't seen a worthwhile "review" from car action in about 3 years - it's all just pictures and captions now, no real paragraph-based review text.

You could do what I do and just go to Barnes and Noble one night a month, have a starbucks, flip through them all, and buy the one that has the most useful stuff! I like them all, though.

Xtreme is still available, RC Car is no more.

I also forgot to mention RCCA's "exclusive" content. I love how they have an "exclusive review - see it here first!" of a vehicle, except for the fact that Xtreme came in the mail 4 days earlier with a review of the same vehicle.

I picked up a copy of car action last night, looked at it saw a 5 page ad (exclusive review) for the 4x4 stampede, and put it back and walked out.

I would but I feel as though starbucks burns their beans.

Oh I forgot to mention, I have no word of review on RC Driver . . . . . . I've never been able to finish reading an issue of it without falling asleep.

I subscribe to all of them. The one I was referencing was the one with Stephen Bess, I believe. I'd have to check the title again, but it was posted on NeoBuggy that they have closed and their staff has obtained new positions within other companies already. Sad to see them go.
