The best I've seen was nearly 20 min in race conditions. I do not recall the type/capacity of battery used.

Xray 808 (not 808e)
Front diff: 41T
Rear diff: 43T
Center ratio: 20/42
Tekin RX8 and 2050kv
Pretty much stock ESC settings, for lack of a HotWire
Turnigy nano-tech 3S 6000mAh 25C
Car weight: 7.6 lb
Track: Indy RC World, Garland, TX. Mid-sized, medium-bite, hard-packed clay
Run time: For 10-minute qualifiers (+1 minute for warm-up), I would run 100% throttle EPA, and afterward would put 4050-4100mAh back into my pack. For a 15-minute main, I turned my EPA down to 80% and smoothed out my driving (which made the car MUCH easier to drive consistently, and still provided equally-fast lap times) and was able to make the 15 minutes.

Car: Hot Bodies VE8 w/kit setup
ESC: Tekin RX8 - Current Limiter 80%
Motor: Tekin T8 1900kv
Batteries: 2x Protek 5000 35c 2S Lipo
Pinion: 20t

If I don't push hard, I can squeak 20 mins out, but under hard race conditions I get about 15 - then again I drive much harder than most with regards to throttle.
