I run a3800 kv 4 pole motor and have noticed the higher the C rating the cooler the motor runs. I have a 60c and a 150c max amps. battery with a16 th pinion and reach temps, between 140 and 150 after a ten minute main. every time i run a 40c geens temps go to 170 -180 and i cant make a ten minute main. I have also ran a 15 th. pinion and temps drop about 5 to 10 degrees. temps stay about the same on any size track.

hi guys was just wondering if anyone has an extra frot diff they would be willing to sell. if so pm me

Hey Guy's, I pick up my truck tommorow, and was wondering if there's a sticker or something on the box that say's "updated" or something that say's pin's are taken care of?

Hey guys,
Recently, I rebuilt my diffs replacing the diff pins with chris pins, cleaned out the factory grease, and re-filled the diffs with the silicon oil (3-3-2). When I took my scte out to drive for the first time after the diff rebuild, I experienced some really weird things. What I noticed first was that the car pulled a little to the right (or left? can't remember exactly) under accelaration and spun out to the right under breaking. Upon closer inspection, the only thing I could find wrong was that the right outdrive of the rear diff was wobbly. Could this be my problem? I took the diff out and confirmed that I had rebuilt it correctly and that all parts/shims/washers/seals were in place. Is the metal holder that the outdrive fits into worn out? Is there something else in addition to this that might be causing my problem?

Thanks for the tips, guys. I'll definitely have to get a higher capacity pack. Probably from CRC.

I'm surprised you guys are having trouble making time with the 1410. My track is just stupidly large with elevation changes and big 1/8 scale jumps. The average sportsman type guys are making up to and over a minute a lap. My best times are around 50 seconds flat but we run ten minute mains and it is very very hot here. So far I have yet to put in more than about 4000 mAh into my 6000 mAh battery after a main and no hint of hitting the lvc.
Maybe I'm lucky but it just hasn't been a problem so far. The time I thought it would be was when we had a deluge the night before and the track was muddy and sticky, but I still made time without a problem. I don't take warm up laps prior to the mains just to be sure, but knock on wood, I haven't had an issue so far.
Just seems to me that something is causing drag or your gearing is wrong or something. I run 16/40 on that track, going down to 14/40 on tighter tracks that are still pretty big and set up for 1/8 scales. I do have a bit of timing on my hobbywing ESC because I decided to just run it at the default timing which IIRC is around nine or thirteen degrees or something like that. Is that the difference? I don't know but something just seems wrong here.
