I just raced Mr Fischer a couple weeks back, that viper 550 system he runs has some serious bite to it on his lighter truck. I feel those guys pain though as he also just bearly got a lap on me and my scte w/ 1410 in the 10minute A-Main.

What driver and truck brand won the SCT Pro 4X4 class at the HRH race over the weekend?

would the novak. 5.5 do the same as the 3800 motor? being that the KV is just about the same?

what kind of heat are people getting with the 5.5 motor?

Default scte diffs plzzz

If anyone has front and rear diff they would sell I'm in need of them. I need the whole diff assembly minus the plastic outer casing. Thanks.

Ya he's sick good, very consistent, almost painfully consistent :P I got lucky and snagged fast lap of the race but couldn't stay anywhere near as clean and smooth as he did through out. It also didn't help that I had a marshall wipe me out getting another truck, then set me down facing the pipe LOL. I'm sure I'll never get to his level, not that I won't continue to try ;P It would have been great to of been on the same lap, espeically in the longer 10min race that we ran. Luckily we have a great track with a lot of great local racers and a local pro that's also sick good to race against most weeks to push us all to become better racers. He was actually the only one that stood a chance of beating Fischer at the pro-series race, but he had an issue in the main and bearly got in 2 laps sadly dnf'ed (not running a scte yet;P).

Hey guys. My name is Tony from Hobbypartz I have been using a Tacon 3660 4000kv motor in my SCTE for a few weeks now and loving it. I currently have the motor geared with a 14t pinion and the temps after a run is coming in around 170 with just a heat sink on the motor. It seems to have gobs of power and it seems to be keeping up with my friends Tekin 4.5 setup. Power seems to be similar between the two, but I'm looking for a more experienced driver to help me test the Tacon motor. So pretty much I'm looking for someone who wants to try out the Tacon motor the only requirements for you guys is to have at least tried/owned a 550 motor or the castle 1410. And for you guys to keep us updated with the testing so send me a pm guy...I'm really looking forward to see want you guys think about it!

I'd be up for trying it out. I run the 1410...it's a really good motor. If the Tacon is in the same ballpark you have a winner.

I spoke with Tekin a short time ago and asked about their upcoming 4pole. It should be released in 2-3 weeks.

I put a Novak 4.5 High-Torque motor in my SCTE this weekend, and I didn't see any difference between it and the regular 4.5T 550. I'm using a MMP, and when I called Castle, they told me to add some timing boost through the C.H.E.A.T. mode and see what that does for performance.

Yaaa more of the motor waiting game!

We should have a contest, the person who guesses the correct release date gets a Tekin Pro4.
