after reading all the threads i was confident enough in the chris pins i never even asked HH for their new set especially after they messed up the second run. Im sure they got the third run right but after opening up my diffs after 30 pack and inspecting the chris pins theres no need.

I don't think they said it "broke". I think Ryan said it's extremely worn, and they are retooling a new one?

Once gears go back into production with the new pins all will be well. Many have lots of runs on there diffs and they are holding up. This is a manufacturing issue right now that is being adressed. The SCTE is far from the Strike. Losi works very hard at coming out with great platforms but like with all things in life sometimes things don't always work out as planned. They have spent tons of time and money working to resolve the issue and are still working on getting it all fixed up.

I know this was said way before this post but I found this post in about 2 seconds using the search function. This was taken from post #11021

All that will prove is we can build stuff better and faster then China to
which everyone knows this already"

The Ten T and the 810 take the same diff parts and Losi has been selling
them all along so you know there could have been SCTE parts if they
wanted to supply us. This all comes down to bean counters trying to make
the most money for Losi by selling what has the most profit margine and
not what the customer needs.

Bean counters control everything in manufacturing not Ryan, he can only
do what the bean counters tell him he can do. (no more,no less)

Bingo, Ryan really had no control over it. And I imagine Ryans boss's boss has no control over it. Corporate politics... Love it.

I think robinsons are machined while Losis are mimed. Tooling is quite a bit diffrent for each... who ever is making the tooling propably isn't making losi a very high priority. Sad that not every body thinks as highly as we do of our beloved hobby
