I'm hoping A Main has spares next week so I can get my Ten-TE conversion going. I've got everything else I need on the way.

Keep an eye the esc temps, I heard some people had issues with the RS pro running a 550 4.5 motor.

I know first hand that in a slash 4x4 with a novak 4.5t 550 ballisitic and a Tekin RSpro it will not work. It will thermal on you within a couple minutes of running no matter how much you try to gear it. The motor would be ambient but the esc would be thermalled. So in a heavier truck like the SCTE you won't stand a chance.

The RS Pro will work but Tekin says don't do it... I used one for a few weeks and it ran fine but then ran into heat problems. I ran two caps like Tekin said before they started recommending the RX8.

Never had a issue with it in the Jammin. 135* after a 7 min main.

Understood since I had a 4.5 Novak before and it would overheat and thermal that is why I run Tekin now.

I thought about moving to the RX8 but Tekin told me, and it is proven to be true, that the new RS Pro works fine with the SC4X 550 on a 2S. I have about 20 races on it without any issues in the Jammin using a 14T pinion. I plan on giving it a try. If it blows, I will put in the RX

I got all my parts today to turn my conversion SCTE to a real SCTE. I was in a mad scramble before the races tonight to get everything swiched over. All the parts seem very nice! The only issues I had was the motor mount didnt seem to slide well. Once I got it set it didnt move though. None of the spare parts come with screws besides the battery tray. I didnt have a manual with me so I was just kind of winging it on what length screw to put where. The only thing I had to change from my conversion was the rear shock oil. It seemed like the rear had more traction with the new chassis. It could be because I had a longer chassis brace on the conversion, so there was a little less flex.
