That's a shame. I was looking forward to selling off my RCM conversion and running the Losi mount to swap 1/8 and 550/540 motors as needed. I like the elite mount but it's hard to shell out $30.00 in shipping to Canada for a $75.00 part.

Yeah, due to us being a vehicle manufacturer, they really want us to try to stay within the governing bodies. So, an aftermarket company can do things like this but unfortunately, we dotn get those leeways.

And that right there is why I'm going to go with the Losi (that and I've been out of the hobby for 11 or 12 years so I need to concentrate on learning to drive again and not tuning drivetrain ). I greatly appreciate seeing the support you and the rest of the Losi crew give in this forum, and this is coming from a former AE fanboy from back in the day

[QUOTE=hacker07;8708588]I apologize if my comments came off to some poorly. They are my opinions. I was simply asking a couple questions. In regards to durability and complexity, I am spot on according to what I have personally heard from the AE guys actually running the truck.

No need to apologize becuase only 2 guys did not understand what you were trying to say Ryan, some of us have delt with you on a personal level for customer service, advice and just dumb questions.....so myself and the other 99% of the people who read this post respect and appreciate your help and advise!!

No they are not. We are able and working on a rear wheel hex for the XXX-SCT to run the SCTE wheels on it so that at least those running Losi vehicles can have one wheel for all of the drive wheels.

I was up in the air on which 4wd to buy, but after keeping up with this post my decision was easy. Should have my Losi SC Monday or Tues, going with the Rx8 and Tekin 4.5. I really don't understand way you would want an 1/8th motor in one of these, they are 1/10th scales.

I think what it is that people already have them so they just want to try to use them to keep the cost down. Everyone buying new is getting the appropriate motor.

+1 to that I will place my order this weekend through a main. Now I haven't checked yet but are the wheels that are the correct offset available? My local indoor track won't like the tires that come stock. Thanks. BTW this will be my first losi product.

I guess I had better not buy anymore XXX-SCT wheels!
