I bash only, 40 plus packs through my truck. Many big air roof landings. Losi carbon is holding up great.

yeahp. Even the brakes are very front biased with that 5/5/3 set up. hopefully thickening the middle will balance that out as well. The center diff just seems not as engaged as it should be (to me) with 5k in it. Even manually spinning the wheels, I want it to turn the motor sooner than it is.

Our local tracks are generally a on the small side and tight, loose and dusty is the normal track condition. Should I go with 5/5/3 , 3/3/2, 3/3/1 or grease ?

I drove my buddys SCTE with 5/5/3 and I really liked it but could something else be a wiser choice ???

Thanks for any input
I run tight indoor clay and love the stock
grease, it seems to work great. You should try it atleast for a reference.

This is interesting, I was running the truck pretty hard in the yard. Ran it for about 20 minutes or so and pulled to my feet to shut it off.
Took the lid off and my pinion gear fell off. I guess it fell off as soon as I stopped.

I never put loctite on it so I dropped a bit on the screw and popped it back on. Good thing it did not break the motor shaft.

At any rate I am loving this truck except 1 thing I cannot stand about it.

The stock Chassis Is too dang soft. Not sure what material it is but it is just too soft and I may just go aftermarket.

Also I added some more pre load to the rear shocks and it seems to jump better for me.

if its not binding i wouldnt worry about it. You should of been at ff sat, it was fun. tq only by .5 sec, and made one mistake in the main and lost 1st.

The rear diff went bad on my truck today. I have been running the Chrispins from day one. The spider gears lost their teeth. I did the OFNA mod at the track and had it back together in time for the main. It was areally good turn out today, there were 19 4x4 SCT in attendance. I qualed 5th and finished 5th.

So you must be Doug. Yeah, Jeff told me about it. Seemed like you guys had some good racing going on. Wish I could've been there but I was out of town.

I bought a MM Pro, and a tekin motor. I don't have wires to connect the two. I need to solder a wire that has bullet connectors to the motor. Where do I find this wire/bullet combo. I bought wire, and bullet connectors but it's impossible to get the wire and solder into the back of the bullet connector

Grab a small cardboard box poke a couple holes in it to sit the bulletts in.Heat the bullets with your soldering iron put a little puddle of solder inside the bullet connector. Then touch the soldering iron to the bullet to heat it up while you place your wire into it.Then lift the heat.Theres plenty on the internet about soldering

Not sure yet. Kind of depends on what's on my shelf, haha. I put 5K in the front but that's the only one I did. I'm gonna set the whole truck up tomorrow. Probably start out with 5/5/3 since that's what I was running in my scrt10.
