its pretty good! Im trying to get more speed on it, ive been trying to mess with the esc and pinion but seems slow, so im going to find out at the track what settings they are running.

I drove it at 702 rc raceway in las vegas this week with kyle johnson and he even said it had no bottom end so ill be tuning this finding the right set up.

Thumbs up

Hey Cult, glad to see you got it together
Guys thanks for all of your input I am getting
a note sheet together so the build will go smooth.
So far we see that the center diff screws need to
be shorter, that's a good thing, Lighter and lower
Cult I see you are using a custom front/Rear brace.
You may want to try the OEM, it will definitely
make a difference on the front/Rear end performance.
We have also looked into the tray fitment and found
a few variances between various releases, from old to new.
If you guys have any questions drop a line, we are working
on a std setup for this combo hopefully we will have it posted soon.
Glad you guys are enjoying, Thank you again for all of your nice words

Hey Losi guys,

Are the pins/gear still backordered or something? I called a looooong time ago and was told I'd be getting new pins and gears (the worn pins ate up my gears) and never received them. I called Horizon again about an issue with an eFlite micro I have and just happened to ask about the SCTE gears/pins, they said they had no record of the request so they submitted again.

That was about 2 months ago, still nada.

I can call again but...it doesn't seem to be getting me far.

I'll I'd just buy'em if someone had some in stock.

I got mine within a week. All I did was fill out that PDF from their site and email it to them. Mine was a 3rd shipment truck but I figured it would be a good idea to have spares

what are you guys running for the o-ring in the diffs? i was wondering if there is a grooved o-ring that can be used, kinda like the o-rings for some shocks but bigger.

Found this while messing around, not a SCTE but still some nice output information on the the castle 3800 and the 2400 with various gearing and lipo's. That little 3800 can pull some major power lol.

I just got mine a few days ago and all I did was break in the diffs like the book said. I've put 30 packs through it in 3 days with no problems.

break in your diffs with one pack, then put chris pins and pin blocks in them. then you will be set to have fun for a long time before you want to buy all the hop ups out there.

Don't forget to pick up a set of carbon shock towers, that's the first thing that will break/bend. Aside from that, the truck is pretty much good to go.
