I agree, I am not upset about it. It will be fixed tomorrow though and Hopefully I might get to take it to the track for the 1st time.

Hey everyone!

Looking to get into 4wd sc-ing...and I think I'm starting with the losi!
Kinda lazy to read through ALL the pages..but what seems to be the general thought on this car? Any upgrades/changes this car will love? The popular motor/esc combo? Planning to mainly bash, with minimal racing.

The first post on the first page should get you what you need to know. Good Luck!

I threw a pin last race and replaced it with a j concepts pins they fit right in. I split the very end where the pin goes into the axle good thing it held up in the main. only thing I out on it was red thread lock. don't think it will go much farther, anyone got a way to fix these without bying a new one was thinking about using some solder, anything that will get into the small crack and hold, gonna try keep it as a spare.

I got to drive my new SCTE for the first time this morning on my backyard track and all I can say is WOW! I set the ride height and camber just like the book said and that thing handles rediculously great. I didn't realize how squirly my slash was until I drove this thing. First impression, Awesome Truck!

I see a lot of guys like the stock grease in the diffs . Being that Losi doesn`t currently sell the grease , what type of grease are you using when it is time to replace the stock stuff ? I have diff oils in my first truck but have a new truck coming and want to try running just grease .

I think Ryan mentioned that the closest thing they've found to the grease was Losi Smartdiff grease. jmc23 also has some grease he's found from work that he's selling, PM him if you want.

No worries man. I already did it last night. It's a 5-40 1 3/4" BHS. The small one on the bottom of the chassis is a 4-40 1/4" FHS.

Quick question for those of you running the droop screw mod where you drill and tap and install them into the chassis. Are you then removing the screws in the arms and letting the arms contact the head of the new screws or are you leaving the allens in the arms themselves?
