4mm Carbon... Just remember aluminum bends, CF breaks. CF seems to last longer and this is coming from someone who spends more time hitting pipes and flipping then I do driving.

Stick w/plastic towers since they dont bend or break.

Personally, The carbon towers are for the closed bodies cars, meaning the SCTE and the TEN-T. The Aluminum towers are for the 810. We have all been running the carbon towers and they arent going to be breaking anytime soon.

That sucks... Our LHS doesn't sell anything Ten either. They should after the truck is released but until then I was stocking up on spares.

The Toyz does have fast shipping, no way you will have it for the weekend though, sorry man.

Does this comes Pre assembled or a kit? Metric or standard screws? If the answers are kit and metric screws, I may pick one up.

Pre-assembled and standard, but that shouldnt stop you from getting it. It is a great truck! It has been dominating the short time its been out! I have had my conversion for 6 months now and have only broke 1 arm. And it drives better than anything else out too!

As far as the beadlock rings, the truck comes with chrome ones. All of the other colors out there (chrome red and black) as well as the new neon yellow(LOSB7024) ones fit both trucks. We will also be releasing another color or two.
I get having them come glued in a RTR, but this is basically a race roller. Most race rollers don't com with the tires glued. Heck... I personally would prefer lowering the price by $20 and leaving the tires out all together. 9 out of 10 times they arent the tire you need for your track anyway.

Comes assembled minus the electronics and motor. Standard screws Not metric.

Yeah, don't let it being a race roller vs. a kit kill the decision for you. Anyways you'll be tearing it apart right away anyways to clean the grease out of the diffs and put lube in them.

it's for my nephew. im looking for something he can put together as a kit. i can't stand std screws. I had the ten-t and for me, that was one of the MOST annoying thing dealing with that car was the std screws.

i'll try the associated sc104x4. I believe they went metric and it's more of a kit, with just a few parts put together. The shocks and diffs only i believe...

thanks anyways!
