Get either the Losi LOSA6530 or Lunsford turnbuckle kits and a new set of SCTE ends.

ran my losi yesterday at SDRC and it was awesome.
i also got the jammin hexes today and really like them especially the grub screw
yaaa yaa i no it needs to get cleaned up.

does anyone run a heatsink or a fan on your motor to help with cooling?

So i've been running mt scte for a couple months now and have developed a problem
about 2 or 3 times per lap its almost like it shuts off it goes straight and glides for about a second and then starts working again...
I have checked all obvious issues such as radio and esc switch. its almost like it needs aglitch buster cap or something
running new RX8 and scxx 5.5 16 tooth pinion
batteries are HK nano 6000's that say 25-50c maybe thats the prob.
i was running some older maxamps 8000's and they were worse but i think they are tired.
the Nanos were better and are leading me to think i gotta spend some bux on some GOOD batteries...
opinions?
and has anyone had a tekin system do this?

The Jammin hexes look good! When you comin back out to OCRC? Good to see you back in a SCTE. Did you sell the SC10 4x4 or are you keeping them both right now?

I hate that sc10 4x4, it was a pain in my butt. I sold it and got the losi again. Ill be going up to west coast tomorrow.

Sounds to me, you have the servo binding. when it does that, and pulls too much amps, it will shut the esc off for a few seconds. Check your endpoints.
Some people have issues not running a glitchbuster even with the rx8 with some settups. To check it out before you buy a glitchbuster, just run a jumper from your 2s battery direct to the rx, and disconnect the red wire from the esc to rx plug. You can use an exacto blade to pry up the tiny latch that holds the wire in. If it works fine after you do that, you can then decide to buy a glitchbuster, or run it just like that if you have a RX and servo that can handle high voltage.

I have a question for everyone who runs the MMP esc with a Castle BEC. So I decided after my BEC wire got damaged and had to be cut and re soldered that i would run the wire under the battery tray like the ESC wire. So I took it outside to test it and it kept cutting out? How is everyone running their wires?
Do you keep the ESC/ BEC wires separate or run them together?Please describe wires.
I also just installed my new Savox 1258tg Servo. Do I need to adjust the Castle BEC with the Castle link? How do I change external BEC's out put?
Think the Savox is drawing too much current and glitching the MMP out most likely.So i need more power to the reciever.
Also my ESC wire is about 7mm too short anyone have any idea how to get ESC closer to receiver box?

Jammin hexes
Anyone using the Jammin wheel hexes how do they attach? Do they fit the wheels tight? Thinking of picking up a set. Seems like a cheap way to drop a little weight.
