Thanks a bunch Chris I will do that. I am thinking a 16t should be fine but I might pick up a 17t just in case.

Thanks
Phil

Save yourself some money and buy those pins from Chris....why would you want to buy 3 complete SC10 diff set for just the pin.....makes no sense....plus they're to short. $45 compared to $18...hmmm,. sounds like a no brainer.

Today I noticed the truck has movable blocks in the battery tray, I'm moving mine back about a 1/2 inch. And not using the rear block. I'm switching to the ballistic 4.5 high torque this week, can't wait to test that motor.
I ran my 3800 on a 16 and 18 tooth pinion and didnt have any heat issues, you could gear up.

I never replace the gasket. They usually last years if you are careful with them and don't tear them.

sanding the diff case has really fixed the leak issue. sticky back sand paper on a flat surface seems to be the easiest way to get the best results. I have also been putting a small film of grease on the gasket before installing the two halves. My front and rear diffs are dry as a bone on the outside.

What kind of grease are you using on the gasket?

Also I just found these washers as an alternative for the kyosho ones for the ofna upgrade. I just ordered 3 and he has 7 packages left. Actually it shows he has more than 10 avail. I just couldn't find the kyosho ones anywhere.

Hey Salad, you may want to put these on the front page just as an alternative to the kyosho washers as the kyosho's can't be found anywhere. Robitronic R27001 4x10x0.15 washers. I also found HPI part number 101392, same size washers. Although, I couldn't find too many resellers on the hpi ones.
