I have been trying to get my setup posted...they are working on the setup sheet to get a few fields right and then it will be posted on the Losi website.

Hot dry and dusty? I would probably try AKA enduro's or gridirons. How much dust and how hard is the base?

I am up at St. Louis's Dirtburners 1/8th scale track, when we water the track it dries quickly in the Missouri summer heat.

I dont know how i would judge how hard the surface is. but theres no clay or sand in it at all.

Whats the best place to drill a bleeder hole in the aluminum caps? Below or above the blatter? There is a tiny hole in the very center of the caps on the inside, how about there? I can just drill all the way through. What size hole, 1mm?

Since it shares plateform there are a ton of hopups already out. Adjustable front and rear pivots, alum rear hubs, alum shock caps (you can drill and put foam in for vents if you like), carbon towers, machined towers just to name a few. There will be more stuff coming as well!
What do mean by this Casper? Where does the foam go and why, what kind of foam? Also, where to drill the holes and how big?

Ya Shawn I would like to think that you would want to drill in the side of the cap(much like the mugen) because that way the exces oil would bleed out when you tighting up the cap. If you where to do it in the top of the cap the excess oil wouldn't be able to bleed out. Remember this is my BEST quess.....Let me know what you find out.. Out of town for the weekend..Did the rc18t2...........

Nice Jer. Get that 18t up and going so I can "test" it.

I know the 8ight shocks have it in the side also. what's up with the foam though?

I ran 5/5/2 tonight in my first running of my 810e. It was a bit slow to respond to throttle for my liking but not bad. I'm trying 5/7/2 next but will probably end up with even 7/10/3 when I'm done. The small diffs don't seem as stiff for given weight of oil as a 1/8 diff.
