Too bad the mud flaps look cool, but within 5 mins of putting my brand new body on the rear wings of the bumper cracked, it so I think I am going to have to trim the rear bumper down. I just removed my side guards, I broke one, then bought a new set as I took the old ones off I was like hmmm maybe I should just leave them off lol. I haven't raced it since to say if they made a difference for me.

Just trimed the rear bumper, as well as removed both plastic side gaurds that run the length of the chassie. Droped about 120 grams. I went from 6.7 lb, to about 6.54.lb rtr.

I need to through my hog up on the scale.. Im sure it caries between 6.7 lbs and 7.4 lbs depending on if I'm running my 1/8th scale motor and 3s lipo. I also threw on the HB D8 Shocks so those added a little weight also, never thought I would see a Chris mod for running the big springs, but owell. They work awesome, and I never have to worry about bottoming out even with ultra low ride height. Still need to test out some diff springs and oil weights for them but I was running 30 wt all around and they seemed fine, I just picked up some 20wt and I going to see if that is going to work next. Running the greys in the rear and white up front I think, without going to look. Anyone else tried any diff springs out for 8ight shocks or D8 shocks on the SCTE?

Rage left my place with all the parts to fix the truck... Now I know how that other guy bent his chassis upward in the front. Those ramps are to small, they buck you at speed, all the throttle in the world wasn't bringing that nose up.

That crazy freak of science is Ronnie Coleman. If we have to pick teams, he is on my side... "Ain't nothing to it, but to do it!"

Swiss cheese up the battery tray.. for more weight loss (can loose a LOT, look back through the thread for different ideas)

This setup works great on any track indoor or outdoor, large or small.. it's just dialed. Give it a go as you lighten up. If you have a indoor carpet track I would run w/ even less droop front and rear (take out equal amounts),, most are outdoors now though ;P on outdoor tracks I run the aka enduro ss's and for indoor duties I find the sc10 stock tires best.

Start with caspers basic except..

37.5wt losi oil up front, NO sway up front, no shock boots, stock springs, stock disc. 89mm droop, 27mm ride hight

30wt ae oil (27.5 losi eqiv I think) rear, silver rear springs, stock disc, no shock boots, stock sway bar, 101 droop, 28mm ride height

PS I initially shaved most of my side mud guards too but if you want to keep mud out on wet days on a dirt track I suggest leaving them.. also a buggy 810 body can be helpful. Note you need a way to hold it in place; I used two pieces of 3m dual loc velcro on the sides and snagged an 810 mount kit for the front nub on the front top brace.

Oh, I know him. I didn't recognize him. I've met him at a race before. Didn't/Doesn't he work for Ofna? Didn't expect to see him with a Losi in his hands.
