The 3800kv 1410 is the perfect motor for the 4x4 (on 2S) though.

Acorreding to the Castle web page the new sidewinder sct and the 3800 kv 1410 1y motor combo will work really good in a 4x4 sc truck it was desighn to give 40% more power with a 2c lipo
But the 3800 kv motor is a 3mm shaft and you have to use the robinson racing bore reducer to use the mod 1 pinion gears that comes on the mod 1 spur gear thats on the ten-scte.

And you can't get the 1410 without the ESC yet, you have to buy them both. Search eBay you can find the combo for 87+ shipping.

I talked to castle about the 3800kv by its self, buying just the motor, and no not know. But there will be a 5mm rotor for sell as a replacement in a month or so?
to using the RS Pro with the 550's.

The Neu 1409/1Y 3600kv is the motor I tested for a whole season that Bernie from CC said to go with for my 4X4 SCT.
It was by far the best setup from all the rest that I tested last season.
It was real funny watching anyone on here say different but as you see they have come around as well.
The CC/Neu 1410/1Y 3800kv is almost the same as the Neu 1409/1Y 3600kv, it's hard to tell any difference.
Oh, yeah that Sidewinder went in a MERV project (once I get around to it).

Of course I'm glad to not care about a 2S limit for anything I care to run :-)
It is 4S as a minimum for all my RC's except the rock crawler...
