This is old news my friend. We all know this. You have two options; complain to Losi or Horizon and hope you get your free replacements soon or order "Chrispins". The hot topic now is how to get our rigs on the "Jenny Craig" diet. LOL!!!!

5-5-2, 5-7-3 and 7-7-5 is what I've seen so far. It all depends on the track and what you like.

Take apart the tranny case and wipe out the excess grease. I use mobil one synthetic red grease on the gears, and sparingly, and it never melts off and leaks out of the case.

You might also want to check the ring and pinions mesh. It could be tight and getting hot enough to melt the grease down and causing it to run out.

What's on the front page is a starting point, but it's also what most of us are running.

5-7-2 is what I am using for smaller indoor clay, I like it.

I'm liking 5-3-3 on a high grip indoor track. Super stable and turns like crazy.

I dont see anything wrong with the grease that comes in it. I run on the same track as saladfork. I really like the way the truck feels right out of the box.

Yea I also liked the grease, at TRCR the truck was on rails. Hope to make it back down there soon, been sooooo busy with side projects I have not been on the track in weeks.

And thanks for the heads up about Rage, we appreciate it. You know Tom Miner by chance?

I kind of felt the same way myself and that's why I moved it up from 5-5-3 to 7-7-5 and I'm liking it so far. I will say this much, with the grease I felt a little drag and that could have been adding to slight temp increases.

Thanks guys, he's good... I just got off the phone with him. The guy who popped the shots is looking at 25-30 years, he has prior gun charges + two new felonies. One less crazy ass roaming our streets.
