the chassis has held up just fine. I agree it does not look short but the extra rear chassis flex it not a bad thing. These have been driven on lots of different tracks and held up extremely well.

It is not an 8th scale. It is a 10th scale. Even though it looks like the 8ight platform all the suspension and drive train are based off the Ten platform so it is all shrunk down a bit.

How much did one in "Race Trim" weigh? I see it says 6.75 lbs, but my Hyper 10 weighs under 6 lbs ready to rock.

Current date is 2/20. It still has to float over and get through customs though. That is horizon's ETA though. 3-7 days before they hit hobby shops after that due to shipping and receiving.

The SCTE chassis does just fine. I ran it at Revelation which is a pretty big track and it held up great. The important thing is that we modified the side sweep and where it comes back to in order to help it not tweak and bend.

Whats secret motor that you are hiding?

I hope the Team Associated folks are reading this thread. I've always been a huge AE fan, but Losi is really showing them up recently with the Losi 22 announcement and now this. I really like the direction Losi is going with a durable 4x4 SC. If AE is planning a 4X4 SC based on the B44.1 platform, they really should think again. As others on this thread have mentioned, the motors used in 4X4 SC have plenty of power to push a heavier, more durable design. It seems AE is content with minor changes to their existing platform (e.g. the new 4.1 and 44.1) and isn't willing to take any risks like Losi is... and they are dreadfully slow to release new products. We now have 4 choices for 4x4SC (Traxxas, Jammin, Hyper and Losi). Looks like AE and HPI may only be left with a small slice of the market if they ever release one. Bravo Losi

looks good. Have been enjoying 2wd SCTs here and looks like 4wd SCT may pick up this year so this could be my first losi vehicle in a long while.

Anyway, sorry if this is already common knowledge, but what kind of SCT wheels work on the vehicle? seems there are a variety of offsets out there.

You can always preorder one to make sure you're one of the first to get one!

I'll wait for one of you to buy it, hate it, then sell it.
