But its a 4 pole motor, it should be good??

The 2400kv will need 3s in order to be ideal.
According to the rpm's of the 2400kv at 3s it should be a little smoother than the 3800kv at 2s, which could be a benefit (keep in mind that the 3800kv is found by many to be smooth too).
The only thing to keep in mind is what is allowed at your track (2s or anything goes).

Questions??

Can anyone give me the dimensions of the batt box????

I'm wondering if a pack that is 152 x 49 mm will fit in it without making any mods....

Four pole motors produce far more torque than a comparable sized 2 pole, much more efficient. We only needed 2 pole motors until the switching speed of the ESC's could deal with a 4 pole spinning 100,000rpm.

the rear hubs are not really needed and they way i see it is you run them then the pin hole gets a little worn out and you get play you have to spend the 50 bucks on new ones or you can use the plastic and spend 5 bucks to replace them.

the other stuff is good, i plan on buing the aluminum towers, shock caps, shock stand offs, shock pre load nuts

protrack wheels rub a little from what, hacker07 or casper said i few posts back but will work in a pinch, i would just wate for the truck and buy the wheels that are made for the truck. protrack are not true 0 offset like the losi wheel from what i have read

You may consider putting this kind of thing into a PM flysullivan, and I think you DO have to read through the 47 pages of this thread. Reason being is that there are multiple opinions and points of view to be considered and if only one person responded to you post, would you have taken their word as gold?

If you're going to drop $500+ on this truck when it's all said and done, you might consider ALL opinions, and that takes some reading.

I must say that this truck looks like a sure fire successful racer, but I'm concerned about the weight.
I like to use high voltage stuff, and I'm not sure I could add the weight and still be race worthy.

Would the weight saving hop-up parts that are available add up to save me ~120grams?
